About Eclipse Night Shift
Eclipse Night Shift is a pixel-art horror game you can play right in a phone browser, mixing “rule horror” with “draw-a-lot gig work.” You draw a lot for a night shift from an agent at Eclipse Staffing, use the rules on a paper slip to tell whether each visitor is human, and survive until dawn to collect your wages.
We wanted a horror game you can open and play instantly, five minutes a run, that really scares you, and lets you take your score and compare it with friends. The scenes and characters are drawn in code, one pixel at a time. The full-screen scare faces, location art, and Codex portraits started as original sketches generated with AI image tools and were crunched down to pixel art. The sound effects are synthesized in real time by the program.
Originality Statement
The setting, the agent Mr. Moon, the five night-shift locations, the six kinds of “them,” the relics, and all of the art are original. They have nothing to do with any film, TV show, novel, comic, or other game, and use none of their names, characters, or art assets.

Your save (wages, relics, Codex, Daily Lot, and streak) is stored only in the browser on this device. Switching devices or clearing browser data will lose it. Our servers hold no copy of your save.
Privacy
- No sign-up or login. We don’t collect your name, email, or phone number.
- We use self-hosted Umami for anonymous visit stats (which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, how many runs are finished). No advertising tracking cookies.
- The survey at the end of the game is optional and records only the options you tap, linked to no personal identity.
- “Copy Score” only puts text on your clipboard. You decide who to send it to.
Content warning
The game has sudden full-screen scare images, screen flashes, vibration, and screaming sound effects. It isn’t suitable for people with heart conditions, light sensitivity, or a fear of being startled. With your system’s “reduce motion” on, the shaking is toned down.
